8/31 At Distance After Dark Cross Country Meet hosted by Rogers State
Lincoln cross country girls had a break out performance by medaling 3 girls and placing 3rd as a team, finishing as the top 5A team.
Tennyson Housley led the charge with her time of 17:12 over the 3 mile course, to place 2nd individually.
The Lincoln boys cross country team was led by
Ty Brooks and
Sammy Farris (top 10) and Jack Strode to take 3rd overall. Lots of PR's and a whole team performance led the boys, like the girls, to finish as the top 5A team.
Next up for the Bulldogs is the Cowboy Jamboree at Oklahoma State University's $25 million course. Known as the "hardest course in the nation", the athletes will be tested by the best teams from several states.
