No. 1 Lincoln Christian had no trouble clearing the first playoff hurdle in the Bulldogs' quest to repeat in Class 4A, as Lincoln dominated Wagoner 75-25 on Saturday night in the district championship.

"This time of year naturally brings brighter lights, bigger stages, and more attention," said head coach Melody Stewart. "But we will be reminding our girls of this truth — we don't chase the spotlight. We reflect Him in it. Our goal isn't recognition. It's representation. The way we compete, the way we respond to adversity, the way we celebrate, and the way we treat others should all point back to Him."
"I love this team's heart. They understand that shining doesn't mean standing out for themselves. It means standing firm in who they are and whose they are."
Senior wing Maddi Stewart led the way for Lincoln, as she poured in a team-high 17 points on 7-of-10 from the floor and 2-of-3 from downtown. Stewart grabbed five rebounds in the win, as well.
Fellow senior Kayli Atkinson had 11 for Lincoln, going 4-of-5 from the floor and a perfect 3-of-3 from behind the arc.Â
Sophomore guard Azariah Woodruff had nine for Lincoln on 4-of-6 form the field, while senior point guard Alexis Leyva had seven points, three rebounds and three assists.
Junior forward Jayla Albert had eight points on 4-of-7 shooting, along with three rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Lincoln stretched that lead to 46-11 at halftime.

Lincoln outscored Wagoner 42-12 in the paint and had a 31-20 advantage on the glass.
The Bulldogs will play Oologah at home Tuesday night in the regional semifinals at 6 p.m.
With a win, Lincoln would advance to the regional championship on Saturday in Verdigris and would face either Verdigris or No. 17 Grove at 6 p.m.
The Bulldogs are not only looking to repeat in Class 4A, but advance to the program's 6th straight state tournament and play in Lincoln's 4th straight state title game.
