Lincoln Has Strong Showing at Owasso Tournament, Wins Three Times

As Lincoln prepares for another deep postseason run, the Bulldogs had a solid weekend at the Owasso Tournament, winning three times against quality opponents.

The Bulldogs (13-14) beat Ponca City (6A) 2-0, No. 6 (5A) Booker T Washington 3-2 and NOAH 3-0 over the weekend in Owasso.

Lincoln also fell in a close 2-1 match to No. 1 (6A) Broken Arrow and Springdale Har-Ber (AR) 2-0 in the other two matches in Owasso.

It was encouraging weekend for Lincoln, as the Bulldogs continue to navigate an always tough schedule.

"I enjoyed the Owasso Tournament," said senior Maleah Levell. "The competition was tough but it challenged our team to help us push each other to our best. Going to a 5th set with Booker T really showed off our hard work."
