After Two Big Wins Over Dewey, Bulldogs Can Grab District Championship Next Week

After two big district wins on Monday and Tuesday, Lincoln is one win away from a district title.

The Bulldogs won 5-1 at Dewey on Monday and backed that up with a 9-4 win against the Bulldoggers at home on Tuesday, moving their record to 8-2 in District 3A-7 play.

The magic number is one, as one more district win for Lincoln or a loss by Keifer, who is 7-3, would clinch and allow Lincoln to host during the regional tournament.

Lincoln (13-14) bounced back from three tough losses to close out last week in the Pinnacle Conference Festival.

The Bulldogs will at Jenks tonight before hosting Tulsa NOAH on Saturday.

Lincoln closes out district play next Monday and Tuesday with a home-and-home against Sequoyah Tahlequah.

The Bulldogs will host Metro Christian next Friday and Morris on Monday before regionals begin on May 1.
