The Bulldogs picked up a big road win on Tuesday night, sweeping No. 12 Holland Hall in three sets.
This, the latest win for No. 5 Lincoln in what has been a busy few weeks, as head coach Deidra Rader's group prepares to finish the home stretch of the season before the playoffs begin.
Lincoln (21-13) was in a stacked Bishop McGuinness tournament over the weekend, as the Bulldogs faced stiff competition from the Oklahoma City area in five games across two days.
The Bulldogs beat Choctaw 2-1 and No. 12 (6A) Piedmont 2-0 on Friday, before falling to No. 1 (6A) Moore twice and No. 5 (5A) McGuiness on Saturday.
Last week, Lincoln got two big wins at home, beating Bixby 3-1 for the second time in nine days, and then winning 3-1 again over No. 14 Rejoice Christian.
Lincoln will close out the regular season at Sand Springs on Thursday and by hosting No. 8 Catoosa next Tuesday.
The Bulldogs will host one of the eight 4A regionals next weekend, as Lincoln will play host to No. 12 Weatherford, Skiatook and McLain.
LINCOLN 3, HOLLAND HALL 0
The Bulldogs won in three sets on Tuesday night on the road at Holland Hall, as Lincoln cruised in the first two sets and then battled to win a close third.
Lincoln won 25-16 and 25-15 in the first two sets, before the Bulldogs edged out the Dutch 25-22 for the sweep.
Maleah Levell had three aces for Lincoln on the night, while leading the Bulldogs with a 94% serve percentage on at team-high 18 attempts.
Olivia Tucker continued her strong season, leading Lincoln with 18 kills on the night. Anabel Nelson had 14 kills for the Bulldogs, while Ellie Stine had eight.
Emily Ingraham had 12 digs for Lincoln and Levell had 11. Stine and Francesca Rollandini each had five in the sweep.
Rollandini had 37 assists on the night.
LINCOLN 2, CHOCTAW 1
After losing the opening set last Friday at the Bishop McGuinness tournament, Lincoln battled back to get a 2-1 win over 6A Choctaw.
Lincoln fell in a close first set, losing 25-22.
But the Bulldogs battled back, winning the next two in dramatic fashion, 25-22 and 28-26.
Tucker led the way again with 13 kills in the match. Nelson and Jada Faulkner had four apiece for Lincoln.
Levell was outstanding on the serve again, with no errors and an ace in another team-high 19 attempts.
Faulkner had six blocks and Tucker had three for Lincoln on the front line.
Tucker also led the team with 17 digs, while Ingraham had 13, Levell had 12, Rollandini had 11, Stine finished with seven and Nelson had six for Lincoln.
LINCOLN 2, PIEDMONT 1
The Bulldogs had no problem in the other mach last Friday at Bishop McGuinness, as Lincoln cruised in two sets to beat No. 12 (6A) Piedmont.
Lincoln won 26-18 in the opening set and 25-18 in the second to get the quick sweep of the Wildcats.
Tucker led the Bulldogs once again with 16 kills in the two sets. Stine had six and Faulkner had five for Lincoln.
Faulkner also had four blocks to lead Lincoln in the win.
Everyone contributed defensively for Lincoln, as Ingraham led the way with nine digs, while Tucker has seven, Rollandini had six, Stine had three and Nelson, Harlow Brown and Levell each had a pair.
Rollandini had 29 assists in 54 attempts across the two sets.
LINCOLN 3, REJOICE CHRISTIAN 1
Last week, Lincoln took care of Rejoice in four sets, as the Bulldogs won big in all three to pick up a great home win over the No. 14 Eagles.
The Bulldogs won 25-17 in each of the first two sets, before dropping the third in a close 25-23 loss.
But Lincoln pulled away big time in the fourth set, as the Bulldogs cruised 25-9.
Tucker had 16 kills across the four sets to lead the way for Lincoln offensively. Levell had nine for the Bulldogs, while Faulkner finished with six and Nelson added four.
Faulker had five blocks and Rollandini had 32 assists on the night.
Rollandini also led the Bulldogs with 13 digs. Levell had 12 for Lincoln, while Ingraham had 10 and Tucker had nine in the win.
Nelson and Avarie Castagna each had four for the Bulldogs.
Tucker also had nine aces in an outstanding night serving for Lincoln. Nelson had four, while Ingraham, Brown and Karlie Jones each had two for the Bulldogs offensively.Â
