In a thrilling Friday night showdown, the Lincoln Christian Bulldogs emerged victorious against the Shiloh Christian Saints, showcasing their dominance on both sides of the ball and paving the way for an exciting season ahead. The Bulldogs secured a 20-14 victory in a matchup that kept fans at the edge of their seats from start to finish.

Shiloh Christian, the defending Arkansas Class 5A runner-up, came into the game with high expectations, but the Bulldogs had other plans. Lincoln outgained Shiloh by a substantial margin, amassing an impressive 392 total yards compared to the Saints' 270.

The star of the night for the Bulldogs was running back Moses Fullingim, who had a remarkable performance. Fullingim carried the ball 25 times, gaining an impressive 144 yards and scoring a crucial touchdown that helped secure the win for Lincoln. Quarterback Luke Milligan also played a pivotal role in the victory, completing 10 of 16 passes for 190 yards, further solidifying his status as a leader on the team.

Luke's brother, Jack Milligan, was a key target in the passing game, racking up 96 receiving yards with 2 receptions.

While the offense shone, Lincoln's defense was equally impressive. Sawyer Brooks  led the charge with 13 tackles, followed closely by Rain Ragland with 10 tackles, Micah Kruse with 9 tackles, and Malakai Dillard, who not only contributed 7 tackles but also made a game-changing interception return for a touchdown. 

The win marked an undefeated Non-District schedule for Lincoln Christian. Next Friday, Lincoln Christian will return to their home turf to face off against the Berryhill Chiefs in each team's District opener.
