Lincoln Christian took down Sulphur Friday night in the Class 3A Quarterfinals 45-7 at Dennis Byrd Stadium. Lincoln got off to a fast start when Moses Fullingim took a short screen pass and scored from 75 yards out on the Bulldogs opening possession. Later in the first quarter, Sawyer Brooks blocked a Sulphur punt and Colton Monsey recovered it in the endzone for a touchdown. It was all Lincoln after that. The Bulldogs led 31-0 at the half. Luke Milligan had a big game for Lincoln. He completed 12 of 15 passes for 206 yards and 3 touchdowns. Malakai Dillard had 3 catches for 58 yards and 1 touchdown. Connor Rowlett caught a 27 yard touchdown right before half. Sawyer Brooks had 13 carries for 87 yards and Moses Fullingim had 55 yards on 17 carries and 2 touchdowns. Defensively for the Bulldogs Sawyer Brooks had 11 tackles with 2 of those going for a loss. Rain Ragland had 3 sacks and forced fumble. Mason Torres had 8 tackles and Lincoln Torres and Caden Barton each had 7 tackles. Lincoln will move on to the semi-finals next Friday against Perkins.
