Max Brown has committed to play football at the University of Florida. Max came away with an official offer after he and his parents visited Florida this past weekend. Max was extremely honored and excited about his decision. He stated "I'm excited for the challenge of competing in the SEC. My Florida recruitment has been about a 7 week process that started after Florida hired Coach Napier. They did all the evaluations and research and then pulled the trigger. I really feel that Florida gives me a big platform to compete and display all the work I have been putting in at QB. Its a huge opportunity and the beginning of my time on the national stage and I'm really looking forward to it."
Max was a 2 year starter for Lincoln Christian. He helped lead the Bulldogs to back to back State Championship games. This past season, Max completed 167 of 235 passes for 2750 yards and 41 touchdowns. He also rushed 173 times for 1343 yards and 20 touchdowns. Max was voted the District 3A-3 Player of the Year. He was also chosen as the Daily Oklahoman 1st Team Quarterback.

He put in many, many hours of work to get himself ready for this opportunity. The Lincoln football community is excited and very proud of Max as he moves on to the next level."

Max will officially sign with the Gators on National Signing Day which is next Wednesday, February 2nd.
